Meet the Doctors

Philip R. Sprague, Courtney A. Greenwood, Boley J. Greenwood, Ashley l. Paulus, and Erin McQuinn are pediatric dentists in Sylvania, Ohio, who specialize in providing quality care to patients from infancy through young adulthood. Each doctor maintains professional memberships with the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Toledo Dental Society and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Each doctor is committed to maintaining the standards of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry in our community. They are all associate clinical professors at the University of Toledo Medical Center, where they teach in the post graduate general practice and pediatric dental residencies.

Philip R. Sprague, DDS

Dr. Sprague attended dental school at The Ohio State University. He earned a post-graduate certificate at the University of Toledo Medical Center. He completed his specialty training in pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Sprague is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Sprague joined Sylvania Pediatric Dental care in July, 2000. When away from the office, he enjoys being with his family, spending time outdoors, rooting for his hometown Cleveland sports teams, and vacationing at the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Courtney Greenwood, DDS

Dr. Courtney Greenwood attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor, Michigan. After dental school, she returned to Toledo to complete a general practice residency at the University of Toledo Medical Center. Dr. Greenwood completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the Children's Hospital of Buffalo. Since joining the practice in 2009, she has become A Diplomate of the Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She has hospital privileges at the Toledo Hospital and St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, which allows her to provide dental treatment in the operating room under general anesthesia. Dr. Courtney loves being back in her hometown, close to friends and family!

Boley J. Greenwood, DDS, MS

Boley Greenwood received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry in 2006. After dental school, Dr. Greenwood practiced as a general dentist for three years, in both Utah and New York, before entering his pediatric dental residency at the University of Toledo, Medical Center. While completing his residency, Dr. Greenwood also earned a Masters degree in Oral Biology from the University of Toledo. Dr. Greenwood has hospital privileges at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center and the Toledo Hospital, and is able to provide dental treatment under general anesthesia.

Ashley L. Paulus, DDS

Dr. Ashley Paulus obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University. After dental school, she completed a pediatric residency at Case Western Reserve University's Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland. Dr. Paulus is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Paulus is a former patient who grew up in Sylvania and attended Southview. She is excited to be back home, closer to her family and friends. She has hospital privileges at the Toledo Hospital and St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, which allows her to provide dental treatment under general anesthesia. Ashley and her husband, Brent, an orthodontist, enjoy skiing, being outdoors, traveling, and cheering on the Buckeyes.

Erin McQuinn, DDS

Dr. McQuinn received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. After dental school she practiced as a general dentist for three years in Chicago where she grew up, before completing her pediatric dental residency at the University of Toledo. During residency, she also earned a Masters degree in Oral Biology from the University of Toledo. Dr McQuinn is excited to join the team at Sylvania Pediatric Dental Care and is looking forward to meeting everyone.
